According to the Rules of Criminal Procedure (RCr 3.02, 3.05, and 8.01), the arraignment of individuals whose case has been submitted directly to the grand jury shall take place within a reasonable time after the return of an indictment. If you are interested in a case that has been submitted directly to the grand jury, then please contact the court division in which it has been assigned to obtain the time and date of the arraignment.
Cedell Harraway – 19CR1136 (Murder, Tampering With Physical Evidence, Criminal Solicitation to Tampering With Physical Evidence)
- Mr. Harraway (DOB 05/20/98) is charged in connection with the April 9, 2019, shooting death of Mr. Gary Sallee, Jr. on West Broadway in Louisville, Kentucky. Mr. Harraway is scheduled to be formally arraigned on April 22, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. in Division 8 of Jefferson Circuit Court. Ryan Olberding is the prosecutor.
Christopher Dresing – 18CR0883 (Distribution of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by a Minor [50 Counts])
- Mr. Dresing (DOB 04/02/84) is a former University of Louisville employee charged with distributing child pornography. Mr. Dresing, formerly employed in the Ekstrom Library on the University of Louisville campus, is believed to have distributed hundreds of images containing child pornography throughout the country. Mr. Dresing is expected to enter a guilty plea on April 23, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. in Division 2 of Jefferson Circuit Court. Madison Shoffner is the prosecutor.
Charles Lamar Richardson – 15CR1542 (Murder, Robbery in the First Degree, Persistent Felony Offender in the First Degree)
- Mr. Richardson (DOB 05/02/83) is charged with the Murder and Robbery of 74-year-old Paul Cason inside the Shell Station at 1123 South Floyd Street on May 31, 2015. A jury trial is expected to begin Monday, April 22, at 12:30 p.m. in Division 3 of Jefferson Circuit Court. Elizabeth Jones Brown is the prosecutor.
Antonio Brown – 17CR1833 (Robbery in the First Degree, Assault in the First Degree)
- Mr. Brown (DOB 10/07/89) is charged with an April 16, 2017 Assault and Robbery that took place inside a taxi cab. Mr. Brown, while a passenger in a taxi, removed a cellular phone from the front seat. When the owner attempted to recover the cellular phone, the defendant removed a small knife from his purse and slashed the victim multiple times about the left arm causing him to suffer multiple bleeding lacerations which required medical treatment and a total of approximately twenty-eight (28) stitches, and likely caused permanent nerve damage. A Jury Trial is scheduled to begin on April 24, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in Division 10 of Jefferson Circuit Court. Doug Meisel and Leslie Bates are the prosecutors.
