Today the Jefferson County Grand Jury returned a thirty-five (35) count indictment against 26 year-old Larynzo D. Johnson charging him with two (2) counts of Assault in the First Degree and thirty-three (33) counts of Wanton Endangerment in the First Degree. These charges arose from the September 23, 2020 incident at Brook Street and Broadway in downtown Louisville where Johnson is alleged to have fired a handgun at police officers during a protest gathering.
