GERINA D. WHETHERS RECOGNIZED AT KENTUCKY PROSECUTORS CONFERENCE IN LEXINGTON
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (8/26/2026): Louisville’s Chief Prosecutor, Commonwealth’s Attorney Gerina D. Whethers, received recognition from Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman and her legal peers this month at the Kentucky Prosecutors Conference in Lexington, Kentucky. During the annual meeting, she was presented with the Outstanding Commonwealth’s Attorney Award in recognition of her efforts to promote public safety in Louisville, especially through the Violent Crime Reduction Team partnership with the Kentucky Office of the Attorney General.
Gerina Whethers is a fearless prosecutor who is dedicated to creating safer communities, and we are proud to partner with her. Her work should give Louisvillians confidence that crimes will be prosecuted, and criminals will be held responsible.
